Hi, cherry red, it`s normal to see those statement written that way. It means that your case is not assigned yet by adjudicator, they just properly noted that your papers are opened and put in active file for next processing .The USCIS are still working for the previous filers who sent their papers ahead of us. Every case were assigned by different adjudicator and so what is best, is to wait for our turn. Don`t worry about touches .....there are some situations that the papers was not even touched and yet they were approved even without touches. So...good luck our time will come , let`s be patient and pray more for our speedy approval. Good luck and God bless!

Sometimes USCIS doesn't update their site, it happens sometime regarding about the "PENDING" notice. But don't worry they are working on your case since you received the NOA1 already. Mostly, it will take 3 months to 4 months from the time your fiance applied the petition. Your fiance will receive the NOA2 after 3 to 4 months. Just be patient. Cuz I have gone through that also. It's frustating to know that it will take that long but remember "Good things come to those who waits"and Trust the Lord.
