aos pending

hi! i'm new here.... just a question... so we passed the aos application on april 2008... how long before we receive the aos interview appointment? when should i start to follow up on the interview appointment? i've received notice that our application is at the national benefit canter on april end of the week...but after that nothing... should i start to get worried?... i've read others timelines... they passed aos may or june and already had green card by end of august or have received interview letter for september... but most of them have gone through k visa first.... we only filed I-130, 485 and 765... anybody who filed aos on april and already received interview letter? our local office is baltimore... anybody have any experience with baltimore office? are they fast or slow? any interview experience with the immigration officers in this local office?

12/22/2010- The packet was returned due to missing page.

12/23/2010- Resend the packet with complete pages.

12/29/2010- Check cashed in

01/03/2010- Receive NOA

01/10/2011- Email from USCIS for the Required Evidence( Finger printing)

01/26/2011-Biometric Schedule

02/07/2011-USCIS online status update-

02/12/2011- Received Interview Letter Scheduled March 14

02/12/2011- Received Descheduled letter

02/17/2011- USCIS online Status update

02/22/2011-New IL arrived schedule for March 29

02/22/2011-Descheduled Letter Again ( 2nd Time)

02/23/2011- I called USCIS and I was told new schedule in the computer for March 22

02/23/2011-USCIS ONline update....

03/01/2011-Interview Letter for March 22 @ 7:15 AM

03/22/2011- Interview and Oath; US Citizen

When looking at the Baltimore processing times on the uscis web site they are working on July 2007 I-485 applicants, you might be processing at a busy office.

damulag, i think you're right... i've been looking at that processing time early this year and it's still stuck in july... hahahay...i guess we'll just wait

Don't worry about it. It will be resolved with time. And as long as you have the EAD and can work, who cares how long the GC takes. :thumbs:

we received aos interview letter yesterday... our interview will be on october 22... :dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:
