Hey guys

A friend of mine brought his fiancee over last December from Mexico. They married (K-1) in January. But, they did not submit the AOS paperwork. Now they want to do so. I think I've read some posts somewhere that its no problem... that the date of marriage was the only thing critical to fulfilling the K-1 requirements... but they are concerned whether or not to seek legal representation to avoid any problems in the AOS timeframe due to red flags that may arise as a result of their own delay.

Comments?

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

They always have the option to seek comeptant legal counsel at anytime if anything arises. The can go it alone and if something happens, they get help.

Yeah that's what I told them. I'll be looking over the paperwork on Sunday to see if there is anything I can't remember from our AOS stuff. No charge. Well, OK... free Mexican Food.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.
