Which Address to use...

I am not sure which address I should use for all these forms. Here is the story. My wife and were living with my parents, but now we have an apartment. We are now lookign into buying a house. I dont want to put the apartment address down if we are going to move into a house soon. Does anyone have any experience with changing their address with the USCIS? How easy is it? Does it work? Should I just put my parents address down because I know they are not moving? Sorry if this is a little confusing.....

How soon is "soon"? Days? Weeks? or more like months? (If it's more like 'months', list the address where you are currently living) You can update your address down the road should you need to. Yes, it works.

An alien is required to submit a change of address via AR-11 within 10 days of moving.

An I-864 USC sponsor needs to update the USCIS via an I-865 as well.

Well I am assuming it will be more like months. One more question. I just looked at the USCIS website and it says for US citizens we can just use the web tool to chnage our address, but for Non-US Cizens, they have to file a form and use the web tool. Since the AOS is for my wife (non-USC) we would need to file the form and use the web tool right? Might be a stupid question, but a question non the less.

2. Non-U.S. Citizens

If you have moved, you need to follow two different steps:

Step 1: File a Form AR-11 (This changes your address in our master database.);

Step 2: If you have a pending case, you must also file a Change of Address online or call our National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283. (This changes your address for the specific application you have submitted.)

Please note that if you are a non-U.S. citizen and you have a pending case, you must complete both steps to make sure that you comply with the regulations and so we can reach you at your correct address.

Fari enough, I guess I will leave the forms as they are right now with the address being our apartment and then if we move I will start filing more paperwork.....
