Hi guys, im glad theres a place like this were i can tell someone whats going on, and maybe even ask for advise about something im not sure of, I live in the bay area here in california, my fiance is from nicaragua, and we hope this is not going to take the 8 months they said it will probably take  .

I have just one question, in my last trip(and only trip) i failed to take photos of us togueter, i have lost of photos of her,her family, pets, wild animals but not a single one of me with anybody just them, I know! what a blunder :( its just that im so used to be behind the lens, well any way im going back on august and im going to use a whole roll(yes i still use film) for us and her family this time with me in it.

Another thing a want to comment is that my fiance was married for a short time about 2 years ago, they got married at home, she told me this like 3 days afther we started talking wich was about 10 months ago, well to make a long story short this is what happened, she told me she never took the marriage papers to the city hall? in her town and that means she was never registered as been married wich to me does not make any sense, i told the person preparing my k1 that I was never married and that she was never married, now afther talking to my fiance she said that she may still be married afther all according to her lawyer brother in law,so tomorrow she is going to go to city hall(in nicaragua) to find out, so is this going to look bad when i go back in and tell the lady that afther all she was married before, is she going to think that something funny its going on? :( well anyway thanks.

I'd imagine CSC applications are taking 8 months, and maybe more with this IMBRA business.

I have heard that photos are secondary evidence but I'd imagine you would at least need a few? The only thing is (I was gonna do this too) you can't submit your petition now, visit and add photos later. The requirement having met in the last 2 years, all evidence must be within 2 years prior to the application.

As for the wedding bit, sorry I don't know. But if she doesn't have a wedding certificate because it was never recorded I wouldn't think so?

It's a rough ride for any K1-ers at the moment I'm afraid (L)
