It's been over 4 months since my husband entered the US on CR1 visa and he never received a green card nor welcome notice.

When I called once, the officer said that it was sent out on May and returned to the USCIS TEXAS service center as undeliverable.

I sent I-90 to wrong service center, somewhere in California and they rejected I-90 because it was sent to the wrong service center.

What should I do. This is truly retarded!

Any help, advices would be appreciated.

Get to your local office asap as they will keep the greencard there for 6 months after it came back to them and will destroy it once 6 months are over. If that happens you have to reapply and wait for a long time. It happened to me in 2001 and i never knew they will hold on to it for 6 months. I was told when i went to the office after 240 days and had to reapply but got mine for free as they had my address wrong on their file. Go to the office as soon as possible and you might get it by hand. Good Luck

I agree with getting to the local office (via infopass) but disagree that the greencard is there.

Thank you guys for responding.

I did not resend the I-90 to the right Center, because I was told not to so because the card will be resend to me. Supposedly they put in Service Request and requested to resend the card to me.

Also, it's not in local office, it's in possession of Texas Service Center. i called this morning again, and was told to wait.
