On the G325A it asks about parents ,,, What do we do if my Fiancee has not seen her mother in years and does not even know where she is ?????

She has all the other info about her , but mother just packed up and left family , so she has no idea where she is now ..

I guess "UNKNOWN" would be an appropiate (and truthful) answer for that question...Not knowing where your mother is shouldn't be an issue...

We put UNKNOWN for my husband's father since he didn't know where he was (or his name)...

As much as I remember, on the form, no one is asking WHERE THE PERSON IS, but instead their name. Unknown would be appropriate, then, if the person didn't know their mother's name. If location is unknown, the mother still has a name, doesn't she?

Unless, of course, I fail to remember that there was a question asking for parents' location. Which I really think did not exist.
