We are sending out out I-129 packet tomorrow and i just want to double check 2 things.

1. The check for 170, we put it inside with everything in a seperate envelope marked payment, is that ok or where do you put the check with everything??

2. How do i mail this?? I know your supposed to track it but how do i package everything and mail it off so it is tracked??

Anything else i should know before sending this tomorrow?!?!

Thank you!!

We were married in Washington in August, we submitted our I-485, I130, I765, and I131 in Sept of 06 to the Chicago Lock Box, and got our Green card in January 07!!! Found this was much faster and easier than going through the K1 process.

1. I had everything fastened with an ACCO thing so I just paperclipped the check right on top of everything. They'll find it- don't worry that's the first thing they check for.

2. I mailed mine USPS with a return receipt and required signature upon delivery. I sent it in a big manilla envelope thing with padding in it.

Good luck you'll be fine.

SweetDefiance,

I put the check on top of my application, as the 1st item of the submission where it would be in plain view. Held the package together with a binder ('bulldog') clip.

Mailed it in a 9x12 manilla envelope.

I am now thinking if people should wait to see if a new I-129F form will be required or to send and wait for an RFE. :o Isn´t this IMBRA thing screwing everyone and confusing the heck out of us?
