Looks Good. Well prepared. I'm highlighting what is probably all they take from you. Have you figured out where to leave your cell phone or keys? Can't wait to hear how it goes for you.

I don't have keys, the joys of living with my parents at the moment!! I'm not entirely sure about my cell phone either. I'm tempted just to leave it at home and just call my parents and Megan from a payphone. Make it nice and simple. I'm getting the sleeper service overnight from Stirling to Euston so I won't have left luggage facilities at a hotel or anything.

Yeah do not take keys or a phone. They wont let you in, you will need to pay a tenner to have them left at a local chemist.

Goodluck!

Excuse my ignorance but is it ok to take your wallet and change in with you? I was going to leave my phone at home and just call Megan and my parents from one of those credit card payphones that are everywhere in London.

If you go into S Audley St, which if you were looking at the Embassy you turn left and it is the continuation of the road running past the front of the Embassy. A little way down S Audley St on the left is a very nice restaurant and coffee shop ) sorry can't remember its name) which would be a good place to wait or meet up afterwards.

Graham if you got a checklist from the Embassy of documents to take, put the documents in your folder in the order they are on the checklist. That is the order they normally ask for the documents in.

Good luck and stop bricking it London interviews are really smooth if you are well prepared and that you seem to be.

Graham--

You can take in your wallet. You put things like your belt, watch, wallet, pocket items in a plastic bag. That's just for the ride through the scanner like at the airport. I was going in with Nick for his interview and was taking off my watch. The lady told me just stick it in my purse. So I don't think the clear bags were more than a place to keep it all together. You walk through the metal detector thing, then you put your belt back on and stuff back in your pockets and go around the corner of the building to enter. I saw cigarettes and lighters go through. You can't take keys, ipods, mobile phones...electronic items at all. No big bags, meaning tote bags or shopping bags, either. Nick kept telling me my purse wouldn't make it, but it was fine.

You can take in keys of the non-electronic kind, Gemmie. I had my house keys on me and that was fine. What they are looking for are keys like car keys, that have an electronic fob.
