Hi everybody! I checked the Salvadoran US embassy website and they have the forms for packet 3 available online. Does anyone know if you can print off packet 3 and send it in to the embassy as soon as NVC has shipped the petition to them? Or do you have to wait to receive the forms directly from the embassy through snail-mail?

Like everyone, we just want to get a jump start :)

In most consulates it as soon as the petition is logged into the system then they are ready to accept information about the case...

You have to wait until the embassy receives the case from the NVC or they won't know what to do with the stuff you mail them. It usually takes no more than a week for the case to arrive once the NVC says they have mailed it out. You can then call the embassy to make sure they have it and then mail packet 3.

10/02/07 - POE

11/16/07 - Received green card and Welcome to America letter in the mail

Removing Conditions

07/06/09 - I-751 sent to CSC

08/14/09 - Biometrics

09/27/09 - Approved

10/01/09 - Received 10 year green card

U.S. Citizenship

03/30/11 - N-400 sent via Priority Mail w/ delivery confirmation

05/12/11 - Biometrics

07/20/11 - Interview - passed

07/20/11 - Oath ceremony - same day as interview
