Can anyone tell me the number to call of the CSC? I tried calling the one on the website but its just an automated reposnse. Is there another number I can call and, if not how do i manage to actually speak to a real life person on the one i already have?

thanks

CSC does not publish a direct dial number. The only way through is the 1-800 National Customer Service Center

YMMV

even if you do get through to a real live human, it's probably just the call center and chances are you'll either get the standard response to wait until you are past their posted times or get misinformation of some kind.

I called the 800 number the other day. You have to poke around through the menu a bit, but you can eventually talk to a human. The guy I talked to was very nice, but as mentioned above, he just said my case is not past the posted times. (Which it would be if they would just post their August update!)

Well, Not sure how you "Poked". There is no option to speak to a "live" person. (although if you ask me most of them are half dead anyway)

please share your secret "poking" technique. The number is completely worthless. Typical Gov. snafu.

I'm not sure exactly what I did. I navigated the menus for a while, and stumbled upon something that let me talk to a live person. I agree it was not very obvious on how to achieve that.

Does anyone know what they will do to investigate the situation if/when my case is officially beyond the processing timeframe?
