Updated! Not that there was much. :)

I'm heading out to the RCMP office shortly, so my new PCC will be the mail today. I called the NVC (took 4 tries to get through) to confirm that I can just use the same coversheet as the DS-230 and she said this was fine. I fed it through the printer to the add the words "CHECKLIST LETTER RESPONSE' in the empty space below the barcode just to make sure its dummy-proof.

You could update mine laterz :) my ds230 was received Today!!

So now its waiting time!

Yes in USCIS.

Here is my story. I've lived problem free life, payed my taxes. One day I decided to marry this girl. But to do so would require her to come to US of A, and so it started. My problem free live turned in to free problems from USCIS! Sure things turned to unsure, certain dates turned to aproximation within months. All logical thinking was out the door, as I filed my papers withing famous Vermont Centre!

Nimche... i hear you about the wait. My husband tells me to be patient.... he has no idea how frustrating it is for me. But for us it's only been 4.5 months (but who is counting) what gets me is the request for consulate change is sitting on someone's desk since the 10th of sept. Still sitting there his residancy paperwork, his work contract and his visa in his passport and they have to decide what????

I cannot pay money or send in the ds 230 until this is decided.... don't think we're going to make the sept "case closed" :(

In my case, my wife really suffered more than I did here. Her situation back home is kind of crazy and that is why we are trying to get Senator involve at this time. I hope they can help. She promissed that she will contact NVC no later than today.

My embassy change is sitting right next to yours and I have no idea how that process will be sit on its place.

I guess we need to wait and watch the game.

Nimche.... well at least we're not alone on the desk??? yeah her country is in such turmoil right now Insha'allah all this will be done with this week. I wish you and your wife a speedy reunion. I contacted my senator's office last week via mail and signed permision form to act on my behalf. I hope they will follow up soon... Have a good day getting ready for work now

Our AVR is still way out of date but operator Kelly confirmed they have all our docs and they were entered onto the system on Friday (19th). As usual the line was expect a 3 to 4 week review period *fingers crossed for sooner*
