That sounds like a feasable timescale to me. If you dont have it by then I would think you could get one at an InfoPass appointment if u have been waiting for it for a few months

I'd be a bit more cautious than that. Theoretically, your timeline seems fine, and you shouldn't have to worry. But there's no guarantee that you will have your AP in time, and an Infopass appointment will not fix that. Emergency APs are only given when an immediate family member is passing or has passed away. At least I was told that last week when I went to ATL because I am still waiting for my AP (applied for last December, approved end of April and still no AP in sight) and my wedding back at home is coming up in less than 4 weeks...More than likely, you will not have any problems though. This doesn't seem to happen too often.

08/26/2001 met in Germany where he was stationed,

02/20/2005 he is reassigned to GA, therefore...;)

04/01/2005 ....I129F sent off

08/03/2005 Interview in Frankfurt

09/22/2005 Arrival in Charlotte

10/07/2005 applied for SSN

10/18/2005 got married

11/01/2005 received SSN

12/16/2005 mailed off AOS (incl. EAD and AP)

02/28/2006 biometrics appointment in ATL

06/17/2006 receive Green Card and Welcome Letter in the mail

01/2008 move to Hawaii

3/04/2008 Mia is born

..fast forward to April 2008: conditions removed, new gc in mail..no paperwork for another ten years!! ;)

Filed: AOS (apr) Country: Mexico
Timeline

I applied for my AP over 60 days ago, and it's still not here...My theory is that on the uscis website the AP is given to people who have a personal emergency or "bona fide" reasons, which means good intentions to travel... A religious ceremony is more than good intentions... I believe if you talk to the officer with the right words and the right reasons there will only be a possitive answer from their side and also it might depend on the local office, I'm in Montana and when I went to the biometrics everything seemed easy and not very busy up there.. so, I'll try my luck on tuesday at the infopass appointment for my emergency AP!!! ... I'll let you know what happens...

Good luck to you too..

Jeny

Be really careful when you file your AOS to not make any mistakes. I had an RFE and that really delayed my AP, which seems to have happened with other people on this site too. I think if you don't get an RFE then your time frame is fine - if you do then it will take longer.

November 22nd 2005: Received receipts for I485, I130 and I131

December 6th 2005: Received RFE for medical

December 15th 2005: Biometrics appointment

February 23rd 2006: I131 touched

February 25th 2006: I485 touched - medical has been received at Chicago Lockbox

March 31st 2006: I131 touched

April 3rd 2006: I131 touched

April 3rd 2006: I131 received!!!!

May 5th 2006: Interview notice received

June 21st 2006: Interview - APPROVED!!

May 2008: Applied to remove conditions at Nebraska service center

May 2008: forwarded to CSC

June 19th 2008: Biometrics

August 21st 2008 card production ordered - YAY California!!
