Nothing on my I-129F :(

Hey guys,

I sent out my I-130 on 07/16/2008 and I got the I-130 NOA1 on 07/22/2008. I sent out the I-129F with all the supporting documents on 07/30/2008 and nothing yet. Its been more that 2 weeks now and I am worried something was not correct on the paperwork. Any advice? I guess I am just being too inpatient but arent we all :unsure: BTW my petition is in the VSC..

Most likely your NOA1 was issued already it's just that USCIS are idiots and even find difficulty in mailing a 8X11 peice of paper... Sooooo with that in mind. Call them and follow the prompts and answer yes to "if its been more than 30days and you still havent recieved your receipt notice". When you finally get a officer on the phone tell her that you sent it 5 weeks ago and havent recieved it. She will pull it up and give you the receipt number. Trust me... i did it.. .and i NEVER recieved my NOA1 for my I129F... to this day still havent recieved it.

as per i have observed here during the later part of the year they are slow on giving out noa1 it took 2 months for us to get noa1 imagine that! but that was with out CR1 on the k3 process we finished everything in 2 months...we were unlucky with the CR1 but lucky for k3...good luck u guys!!

Love is an unexpected thing...and when it arrives grab it with all ur heart....it may pass u jsut once.......

I never received my NOA1 for I-129F either, although my lawyer did. I received the NOA1 for my I-130. Not sure what is up with that.

Done for 3 years or 10 years. Haven't decided yet.

(I'm going for the IR-1 and blowing off the K-3. Even if it takes an extra couple months, it's worth it to not have to deal with USCIS again)

Note:

Please fill out I-130, wait 6 months for approval, then 3 more months for an interview. (Unless of course we've bombed your country into the stone age, then you qualify for expedited processing.)

Wow it looks like if we complain we get some pity on. I just recieved the NOA1 for the I-129F and just yesterday I complained aout it.
