Just because I love homosexual poodles and hug trees doesn't mean I can't call out a pratt when I see one. You BY are being a pratt for associating social liberalism and despotic communism - I think I made the second term up but the point is, there is nothing remotely cool about despotic dictators throwing their weight around while innocent (I hate that word because it implies something more than it means) citizens get slaughtered.

It's like looking at Jesus in a beret.

amen to that and power to the proletariat

Of course

Actually you are the #1 offender.

So of course you are going to, ironically, roll your eyes at it.

Your ratio of attacking/discrediting someones post/opinion to actually discussing the topic is probably: 45:1

Yeah well I would be wouldn't I

I wonder how many people who have actually read your posts would actually agree with you there...

and wonder why wog boy still post here,.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

I still find it fascinating people making jokes about something they were never a part of, and dont really know about.

It is always the case though.

One of my Steven like uncles, to this day, swears by socialism and communism. Ironically he lived all of his life in a democratic country and has never been to a communist country.

I've never sworn by socialism or communism. You really have no idea most of the time what you are talking about. In fact, I don't know anyone here on VJ who has made more outrageous statements that indicate a very skewed political ideology than you.

i agree..some people are so narrow-minded or tainted that they cannot see humor...sadly, they are the ones who wave the flag and are glad to see other people's children die for their patriotism

Fashionista, too.

Don't confuse my lack of interest in discussing ideas with some of you to being incoherent.

As you said yourself, I made a statement, a one liner. Yet you have no problem taking it out of proportion.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Your "one-liner" basically calls Steven a communist. A stupid one-liner to be sure - but you can't expect the guy to ignore a slanderous insult like that.

Imply one thing unsaid while writing something else. Then write another altogether. Brother, you truly are a marvelous piece of work with the unseen aspects of the English language.

I was being sarcastic. Hence why the post was a one liner.

Then there must be a huge population of people that have reading comprehension problems or even shorter attention spans. For their benefit, you may want to consider putting bolded disclaimers to highten the sarcastic effect. As has been recommended to you in the past for better clarification.

But usually... when an individual feels like the whole world is crazy its usually the other way around.

So you meant this sarcastically also?

The OT section of VJ barely represents a fraction of VJ, let alone America or the world. So lets hold off on the world statements.

Obviously we have played this game before; with the posters some have now called the old VJ members. That is, you guys tell me what I meant. I guess whenever I do not make a detailed post, you guys feel you have the right to fill in the gaps yourself.

  • Steven like = not Steven but with like-minded views
  • swears by socialism and communism = is a socialist communist (aka former soviet Union). Once again uncle and not Steven
  • etc
Unless you guys want to debate socialism and communism. Edited by Aficionado
