Tracking AOS and EAD

I know that this topic has been brought up here a while ago but i want to ask again how to tack AOS on uscis website. Does the receipt number for AOS and EAD starts with MSC-xx-xxx-xxxxx??? When i entered using my receipt number it says "Case Status Retrieval Failed" and "This Receipt Number cannot be found at this time in this automated system. Please check your case receipt number to see if it is correct. If you have questions or concerns about your case status, please contact the National Customer Service Center". Did i had the wrong receipt number? An help are much appreciated. Thanks...

Not at all unusual. USCIS admits they can't make the automated system 100% accurate.

I accessed it after waiting a couple of months. The EAD worked....but the AOS was never updated from January and we already have the interview coming up. I think there is a way to get current status updates by phone....

Hi there! I filed AOS last June 23 and was not able to view my case online until after my Biometrics. So wait until you're done with your bio and im 90% sure your case will be viewable online.

Alot of people dont get a chance to view their case ever. So don't be too freaked out, I have the same MSC-XXX-XXXXX and I cant access. I get the same answer.

I did get to talk to someone in the USCIS and they were able to pull up part of my file: my A# info. So just be patient...

Make sure you enter without the dashes in the receipt number. (MSCxxxxxxxxxx)
