Hi everyone,

I received today letter for biometrics and, like everyone, would like to try to do "walk-in" instead waiting for more then 2 weeks for appointment. I am lucky to live 2 minutes from local office and less then 10 from Biometrics office in St. Paul MN. If anyone tried walk-in, please give me an advice.

Thanks and good luck to us all.

We were there when someone tried and they received a tongue lashing.... your best bet would be on a Saturday when the office is slow

I tried today, but no luck. The waiting room was PACKED. The woman was nice and seemed like she wanted to help me (the appointment they scheduled is not good because of my husband's work and I don't drive), but she said she couldn't do it because so many people were waiting.

She did mention that I could try on wednesdays and saturdays afternoon, but offered later date then I had on notice which, of course, I didn't want. We agreed on me coming on a set date, but earlier. Also, she gave me form to fill at home so I don't have to wait for number when I get there. She was polite, but not really much she could have done. I don't recommend trying walk-in, especially if you don't live close - we didn't mind since we live in Bloomington. Maybe somebody will have better luck on other days.

Yeah, you were right... I don't know why I thought it would be slow paced...... Well, 2 weeks is not too long to wait. There is nothing else we can do, right? :)
