Hello guys, I am a lil sad today, i tracked my i864 and my ds230 wich i sent yesterday and they were not delivered of course... i didnt want to sent them until monday... overnight... But my husband sent them anyway and we got this message : We attempted to deliver your item at 11:02 AM on August 2, 2008 in PORTSMOUTH, NH 03801 and a notice was left. A second delivery attempt will be made. If unsuccessful, we will hold it for five business days and then it will be returned to the sender. Information, if available, is updated every evening. Please check again later.

Have anyone had a similar experience??????

hi there, i was going to have the same problem when i mailed my I864 on a friday. the lady at the postal service said they would not get it on SAT because NVC is closed on Saturdays. she recommend me to just use priority mail which will be delivered on monday for sure. so dont worry they will get it on monday for sure

ok. i'm retarded too and didn't think that NVC might be closed saturdays. it did enter my mind but then sent it my AOS package anyway and got this:

"Status: Notice Left

10/30 : Paid Document Verification (just to be on the safe side)

11/12 - 11/13 : Medical at SLEC

11/18: INTERVIEW DATE/MANILA EMBASSY/0630AM - VISA APPROVED!

11/20 : Visa in hand! (that was fast!)

11/30 : Flight to USA!

Life in America:

11/30 : POE:LAX

12/04 : SSN issued - 12/13: card received in the mail

i am leaving Monday.. flight is at 10pm or something. i hate going to LAX. too far and the traffic is horrible. thanks for the wellwishes!

Yiyi and Chris, yup.. seems like we are on the same boat alright! It had better be delivered Monday or USPS is going to get yelled at by a hysterical, over-stressed petitioner! haha!
