Question on filling out 864

Actually, two questions:

1) It says under the household size questions to "DO NOT COUNT ANYONE TWICE".

It then asks me to enter the number of intending immigrants, which is 1. Then it gives a big fat "1" for myself. It then asks me to put "1" if I am married...

But the way I read it, if I put a 1 there, because I am in fact married (to the immigrant in question) and then count my father who is jointly sponsoring my wife...the household size will be 4, not 3, which is the actual number of people who are living here.

What do I put down then? 1 seems wrong, and putting a 0 would be incorrect as well...

Also, while I'm at it, where do I get I-864A? The 864 says I need this A document for every joint sponsor, apparently we both have to sign this to say we agree to the co-sponsor thing? But I've not seen it mentioned nor even available for download on VJ. What's the deal there?

Do NOT count your wife again when it asks you "c. If you are currently married, enter "1" for your spouse."

That whole section specifically states: "Persons NOT sponsored in this affidavit"

You have already included your wife (the immigrant) in the affidavit so you do not have to include her in this section

You only put 2. 1 for the intending immigrant and one is already filled out for you which brings it to 2 unless you have someone else who has filed an I-864A in order for you to be above the poverty line. Hope that helps.
