London Interview - does spouse attend?

The packet seemed to indicate that I don't go, but everyone I know who had green card interviews in the States had to go with their spouse. Which is it? (don't want to send DH and then discover I should have gone!)

I was wondering the exact same thing. We have the interview on Monday and I wasn't sure whether or not to go. I believe that the checklist asked if anyone would be attending the interview with you and I think my husband put my name down. I don't mind going but wasn't sure if it was mandatory or if they prefer you didn't go???

From what I've read I believe you can go but that it's optional. My concern was going and then being told I couldn't go in with him.

In Ireland, most people went without their spouses.

In London, the USC spouse can go into the embassy with their UK spouse and there is no preference. If you want to go, definitely go. If you don't want to go, there's no need to. If you do go, you may be asked not to come to the final window, but I was able to with my husband.
