The fact that you are continuing to 'question' my sources as apposed to posing constructive argument as to why my conclusions are wrong, I can only assume that you don't know how to answer the criticism.

Riled up? No, disappointed by the lack of policy clarification, hugely.

Well, you're not going to find policy clarification from soundbites on the 6 o'clock news. ;)

Well Obama and the democratic party should clarify what this change is.

I am amazed at how much of a popularity contest (rooting for your team per say) politics here really is. This being my first US election. Just look at how many people simply like Obama for his personality rather than his views. Or how many people actually fall for the slogan trap.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

I don't think you realize just how much you help perpetuate ambiguity over clarity by not at least saying, "Steven, I listened to his speech yesterday on public radio, or I read his website, or I read an article in Time magazine." I wasn't trying to trap you, but I hear a lot of people making the same argument and it makes it difficult to challenge that claim without you being more specific on your end.

I guess either Barack has made changing the culture of Washington the cornerstone of his campaign platform or he hasn't.

Obviously he stands for more than that - per his positions on healthcare and Iraq, but he's defined this idea of change specifically in relation to cleaning up corruption in Washinton and reducing the influence of lobbyists and special interest groups. Its this that he hasn't addressed in a substantial way.

Stephen, I didn't so I can't that isn't how I came to this conclusion in fact, although I refer to the news, I never listen to one program or read one piece and form conclusions based on it. That isn't a very sound way to inform oneself.

Now, what exactly are you going to do to refute my conclusion that there isn't any substance to the 'change' slogan? Anything?

Why not Obama? MCCain I see in my eyes is another Bush. America has so much problems but we seem to help people in other back yards before we help our own people.

I'm not much on words but I say give Obama a chance you can't make a difference over night no man/woman can.
