What for? Personally, I didn't feel the need to tell my ex, I didn't want to because I don't even think about her. I only talk to her if it is about the kids. In fact it was our boys who told her I remarried. She still uses our sons to hurt me but Im done fighting about it,I know my sons will see through her when they are older. My wife on the other hand handles her well, now I don't have to deal with her :)

It was a bitter divorce, of course she wanted everything.

I am happier now than ever and my sons love my new wife. Can't ask for more :)

My ex wife met Lara on a few occasions when she came over to Scotland. They got on very well which I'm delighted with.

We were quite lucky that it was a quick and easy divorce. We both didn't want any more pain or issues for the kids.

My ex knows I'm marrying and moving to be with Lara. She understands why I'm doing it. It's hard for the kids yes as I wont see them as much, but people have to move on in there lives.

hmmm never had an x but i would assume the relationship is finished and the ONLY thing that is his business is the kids and if his visitation or amount of child support will change, also it is his business if the new man in ur life is a decent guy for the kids but kinda hard to get thru the visa process without a lot of back ground checking and after seeing ur fear of telling him about the new man in ur life i have to wonder if ur x would be able to pass the amount of back ground checking ur new man had to go thru?

anyway anything that does not pertain to the kids is no longer his business so if it was me i would get married and tell him after the fact......why mess up a beautiful day with the fear of him crashing the wedding?

I remember when my Dad got re-married, his mother (my lovely grandmother) told my Mom under tears after the wedding that he got married. 17 years later I don't know if I should invite him to my wedding, since he never invite me to his nor told me that he got married. The next time we (my brother and I) went to visit him in Denmark all the wedding gifts were standing there, and it was just a fact, that this woman is his new wife.
