What to put as payee on money order for sending AOS?

Hello Everyone!

Pls. pls. help me about what to put on the check for the AOS payment?

Me and my hubby are ready to send it but there is one thing that is missing and that is the check. So right now we wanna make sure that what we put as a payee on the money order is correct.

I am hoping that someone can help me.

I put department of homeland security on mine. In the guidelines to filling in the form you should find the name to address the cheque to.

Adjustment of Status

CIS Office : New York City NY

Date Filed : 2008-04-12

NOA Date : 2008-04-18

Bio. Appt. : 2008-05-13

Touched : 2008-05-13

Case Transfer : 2008-05-22

Touched : 2008-06-19

Approved (Email): 2008-07-14

Card Received: 2008-07-21

EAD

Card received: 2008-06-26

AP

Received:2008-06-23

Other

SSN received : 2008-03-21

Driver's licence permit received: 2008-04-03

Also make sure you don't just put DHS. It has to be spelled out: Department of Homeland Security :)

05/12/04 => Arrived in the US under L1 status / work visa

03/05/05 => Met the love of my life

07/02/07 => Married my wonderful USC husband

______AOS JOURNEY________________________________

10/03/08 => Package sent to USCIS

03/03/09 => Interview in Chicago, IL =>> APPROVED!

______REMOVAL OF CONDITIONS JOURNEY______________

12/03/10 => Package sent to California service center

03/02/11 => 10 YR GREEN CARD RECEIVED!!

______CITIZENSHIP JOURNEY_________________________

01/20/12 => Filed N-400 for Citizenship

06/21/12 => Citizenship interview: Approved!

07/25/12 => Oath Ceremony.. DONE WITH USCIS!!
