I quit my job and now my husband is totally supporting us. When I sent in the AOS packet with the Affidavit of support I was working and we did not put down his income. But, now I wonder what will be said at the interview next month. He makes enough money as he is a welder. Hopefully everything at the interview will go smoothly. We already had our 2 year anniversary so we do not have to lift conditions later.

I was going to file last year but before I got around to doing it the fee went wayyyyyyyyy up. He was pretty upset with me. I was mad at myself also.

Our AOS interview is on August 11th.

They tend to be concerned with income situation at the time you filled out and signed the I-864.

However you can fill out a New I-864 reflecting current income situation and husband (K-3) can also do an I-864A and add his income as member of household.

Who May Be Considered a "Household Member" for Purposes of This Form?

The intending immigrant, in certain circumstances. (See "How Can the Intending Immigrant Be Considered a Household Member"?)

How Can the Intending Immigrant Be Considered a Household Member?

Listed below are two ways that the intending immigrant may be considered to be a household member for the purposes of

pooling income with the sponsor to meet the Affidavit of Support requirements:

[*]The intending immigrant has the same principal residence as the sponsor and the intending immigrant can establish

that his or her income will continue from the same source, even after acquisition of permanent residence.

[*]The intending immigrant is the sponsor's spouse and the intending immigrant can show that his or her income will

continue from the same source after acquisition of permanent residence.

Right but I'd take it along and not mention it unless it comes up.
