Should all renters, including the US born, be required to obtain occupancy license in order to rent?

If an illegal asked for a credit check and what if he has fake soc card or no card at all wont it send up a red flag. i don't know i know most rentals require a credit check and a fee for it. Still think the $5 check should not apply to us Americans who are legal and are born here know how to speak ENGLISH.

Is it fair to ask USC renters to pay $5 for a license each time they move, to address a problem created by a coalition of big business and big government which was all too willing to "look the other way"?

No. But I would be in favor of a law requiring you provide documentation you are leaglly here. USC have birth certificates and passports to do that, we don't need no stinking lisence! Legal immigrants have green cards, what do they need with another lisence?

I also think there should be no such thing as an "illegal" worker. Only apply a TAX of $500,000 per day for employing a worker without proper authority, it isn't "illegal" there is no "crime", it is just taxed. The good thing about TAXES is property and business assets can be siezed to pay taxes. hehehehe. So, employ an undocumented worker to mow your lawn and you lose your house! Illegal immigrants (and I have nothing against immigrants in general, I married one) come for because of an economic incentive. When we give them an economic incentive to go back, they will.

Of course it will never happen, big business needs an underclass to work cheap and big government needs an underclass to depend on government.
