Hi all,

Thanks much for always being so helpful. I have two questions concerning Forms I-485 and I-765:

In I-485 you're asked whether you were inspected by a U.S Immigration Officer and right below that question is asking me about a Nonimmigrant Visa Number; now, by "inspected" do they mean they checked my F1 pagacke and stamped my passport/visa/I-94? Also, where's that Nonimmigrant Visa Number?

In I-765, why do I state? I applied for Employment Authorization when I was a student and thus got my OPT. So am I applyinf for permission to accept employment or renewing my previous authorization even though my status changed from F1 to K1?

Once again, thank you for your patience and help!

yes

The 8 digit red number on the right side of your visa.

Here I would say you're applying anew, since your status has changed, but maybe someone who has been in a similar situation can chime in and confirm.
