At least it is almost last thing you have to deal with.

For your own issue...

Yes, I know how it feels like.

I've done with USCIS for my own issue. I've been dealing with INS, USCIS for last 13 years. :bonk:

Now I have to deal with my wife's case again.

I don't know how much I gave to INS/USCIS for processing fee.

Thanks, Lyuba

At least, according to timeline, I don't have to deal with USCIS for my wife's I-751.

I think it will be May or June time-frame to join with my wife.

K..I'm done sitting and waiting. Now I'm super PO'd. I wrote a very nice letter to the other Senators office, explaining to them how annoyed I am with this process, especially since I was told 2 weeks to a month. SO let;s see what happens.

Ok so I so super upset with these monkeys that I had to do something. I wrote a very loooooooooooong letter to the Senators office. Then gave them a call today. They said my file as been assigned to some person and that she will start the inquiry in 48 hours......sigh all this waiting...I swear I could learn a new language by the time they give me my citizenship. =)

KynSilva,

I went through the same process in writing to the Senator. But after their exchange with USCIS, they are saying that cases are processed in order they are received & that my case is among those files that are still being reviewed. The office promised me they will follow up everything month at least twice a month & keep me updated about the results. I Also have another InforPass scheduled on the March 20th. Hopefully, something good will come us very soon.

Thanks guys for your support!

Oh Kat Im not done with the USCIS just yet. I'll keep moving higher up till I get my answer. Next will be my wife calling the Senators office up and asking them what the heck they are doing on this case, followed by a long letter to the newspapers telling them about the annoying process of becoming a USC. It makes no sense that some states allow same day oaths and others don't. This is a Federal system not a state system and it seems that we are caught up in their bureaucratic bs. I refuse to sit back and just take this ####### from them.

SO I called USCIS and spoke with a very nice dude. He ofcourse said there was nothing he could do . Told me St Paul office is working on April files of 2008. I told him that the information is wrong on the website. Which he disagreed. Then I told him I already had my interview and passed, and then explained my frustration that notes are never updated, how can the function. He told me since my file is close to the 90 day mark, he can't do anything till the 90 day mark comes. Sigh......cranky cranky. LOL

Update from Senators office

Dear. Mr.XXXXXXXXXX

I received the following response from USCIS to an inquiry I submitted on your pending N-400:

This N-400 is assigned to SPM and placed in the reverification process on 2/23/09. This is a standard procedure. Once this process is complete, if the application is approved, it will then be placed in the queue requesting an oath ceremony date.

If you have not received a response from USCIS by March 23, 2009, please feel free to contact me and I will submit another inquiry on your case.

Best,

Melissa Muro LaMere

U. S. Senator Amy Klobuchar

My question is...what the hell have they been doing since December 08, 2008? Seriously....this is why things get backed up...they don't have a process that works.
