Well, despite my best intentions I am not able to file my AOS until tomorrow. I was hoping to get it sent a few weeks ago before I went out of status, but it took me longer than expected to get everything together, (serves me right for not preparing any the AOS requirements until after the marriage!). Anyway, it will be sent tomorrow, it's all ready, (although haven't sealed the package yet as will no doubt check through it a few times prior to sending tomorrow!).

I haven't been able to obtain the I693 Medical Examination of Aliens Seeking Adjustment of Status, so have just included the vaccination supplement and everything else I was given at the medical in London in the hope it will go through anyway. If not, I'll get an RFE and will obtain it then. There's no civil surgeon anywhere near where I live and as I'm often home alone with my twin babies I haven't been able to schedule anything as yet. I didn't want to delay actually getting the ball rolling as I am now out of status, so am sending as is. I've seen plenty of people on VJ actually get approved without the I693 so fingers crossed that I will be, but an RFE won't be the end of the world.

Anyway, let's all keep in touch now we've got this far through the process!

Congrats on completing your packet and don't worry about the I693, most of us never sent that. :no: They already have a copy of it because it was contained in the "mysterious brown packet" given unopened at the POE when you arrived in USA (the medical you had in your country). The vaccination supplement is all that is needed! :thumbs:

Hi everyone,

I'm a forum newbie. I am currently in NJ as a B2 status holder and is getting married to my USC boyfriend on Tuesday. He has asked me to prep for the applications and we plan to have them all submitted on the 21st (that is if the marriage certificate gets to us in time). I have a medical appointment on Wednesday next week.

I am keeping my fingers crossed that everything will be ready in time. I'm not quite sure how sensitive my legal status will be if I don't receive my NOAs or any approval for that matter before the end of my legal stay here (august 14). Neither am I certain that we have all the "evidence" documents for the submission.

Any tips and guides will be very appreciated. I intend to keep track of the posts here as I will be a July Filer as well.
