We saw 2 dates on our approved Visa on the passport.

What is the Petition Valid Till date for?

We know she has to travel in to US by the K1 Visa Expiration Date. Is that right?

Anyone who can confirm on this will be great!

THANKS!

That is to make your entry into the US and use the visa. Its single entry, and once you enter its not valid anymore. You cannot enter if the visa has expired also.

I finally got rid of the never ending money drain. I called the plumber, and got the problem fixed. I wish her the best.

The Visa Issue date is 26 Apr 2006

Visa Expiration Date is 25 Oct 2006

Petition Valid till 02-Jul-2006

So are we ok if she travel in to US after the Petition Valid till date BUT before the Visa expiration date?

thanks for any advice

sure...she can enter up to 25 Oct. The petition valid date is meaningless now. That was the final date for her to apply for the visa, which she obviously has now.

Up to, and including the expiration date too, if you really wanted to leave it that late!
