Hi everyone!

Today I went to the Seattle field office for my scheduled Infopass. I had no trouble at all getting my passport stamped; the stamp is good until June 2009 (a year from today, and 6 months after my NOA expires). Also, for what it's worth, the officer checked the status of my case, confirmed that it is still pending, and told me, "for these cases (removal of conditions), it takes about a year." I am a NSC -> CSC transferee.

Wishing everyone speedy processing!

What it's worth is not much. He has no idea. No way NSC-CSC transfers take a year. Everyone I've seen with your NOA1 date or thereabouts has taken from 3-5 months. You are on the outside of that timeframe right now.

Yup, I know. According to the processing timelines posted on the USCIS website, I'm actually looking at about 7 months (they're processing mid-December right now, allegedly). We'll see...

They have stamped you for the whole year. woh I had it for 6 month only. Some people here on this forum even for less. I think you will be approved before your stamp will expire

I also asked about timing and was told that " now it take a while to process" and a general speech that I might get an interview or get adjudicated at VSC.

Hi,

I have been trying to get an Infopass appointment in Seattle for I-551 stamp but it said that there were no appointments available at this time. I even tried other options to get an appointment so I could go there and atleast talk to someone but no luck.

How did you get that appointment? I know that the USCIS website mentions that one cannot talk to a immigration officer without a Infopass. But I did read folks at other field offices going and getting an appoinment.

Thanks!

Dei
