This is more of a security question and just to be safe. I have my green card and its valid for two years starting two weeks ago. Within those two years is there anything I should be aware of or need to know while its valid. I know this is kind of general but I just want to be safe and know what precautions I should take

Yes, don't loose it. It will cost you $370 to replace it.

Mark you calendar for 90 days before it expires, after that date is when you file I-751, but not after it expires.

09/18/2020 - NOA via text

06/05/2021 - Notification of biometrics scheduled

09/17/2021 - Interview - decision cannot be made

11/24/2021 - Denial letter, 30 days to appeal

12/24/2021 - Appeal sent back with I-912 waiver

12/24/2021 - Motion to terminate deportation proceedings from 2013 filed

Because your question is too broad. You'd quicker find a better answer googling or on the USCIS website.

There's a lot of information and it's easier for me to type what to google than to do it for him then cut and paste the link. VJ members are here to help but not to re-type the information available on USCIS and other websites.
