If we go for DCF.I have to sponcer her for Canadian PR.(do you know what the Req. for DCF.How she should be legally living in Canada.)

that will take almost an year.

aim is living together in USA.

so i guess we start with CR-1 and start the process now.

please advice.

since you want to get married in july and not do a fiance visa (as everyone says, you will be with your SO much faster), then yes, after you get married to do the CR-1. You are correct about the PR for Canada, takes about the same time as the US and then she would have to live there for 6 months

Our advice is to file for a K-1. You'll be in the US living with your soon-to-be spouse in no time. If you file a CR-1 you'll be waiting and waiting and waiting...

... and waiting...

.... and waiting ...

... wishing... hoping ... griping ... complaining ... IN CANADA because you won't be in the US.

I also think your best bet is K-1 visa, come to the U.S and get married :thumbs: Then file for green card - I-130 and I-485 Adjustment of Status.

An adjustment of status from K-1 does NOT require an I-130 just the I-485.

An adjustment of status from K-1 does NOT require an I-130 just the I-485.

Yes, you are right. I-130 is not needed for K-1 visa.
