Hey guys,

Just wondering if me and andrew can go to hawaii for our honeymoon? i heard that i cant leave the states before all y paperwork comes through but as its in the USA im thinkin it might be ok?

could anyone conform this becasue i wanna be absolutley certain. :thumbs:

Hawaii is NOT another country, it is a STATE, so of course you can go to Hawaii for a honeymoon.

As the Hawaii is part of the United States - you wouldn't actually be leaving the States. So you're 100% ok to honeymoon in Hawaii. FYI - its the 50th State. You could fly to the 49th State of Alaska as well.

and what country is "Hawaii" in?.......the othe states are in the mainland.......but all are usa.....

Don't feel bad, the Hawaii question comes up fairly often, and gets equally smacked aground.

But yes, the country includes Hawaii, Alaska, AND also US territories like Puerto Rico. You should not leave the "Country" until after you have AP or Green-card.
