I don't think you'll find I have called for an out and out ban anywhere. My pet peeve is with the 'it's just a tool' argument. I am also wondering whether having a permit to carry concealed is all it's cracked up to be. In this instance it appears as though this woman acted carelessly and I think she should recieve some kind of punishment for her wrecklessness if it is proved that that is what led up to the accident and possibly have her permit revoked.

we can argue semantics all day about what term to give to a firearm, so why bother? we are in agreement regarding her recklessness and about her permit being revoked.
