2nd times application for k1

A former fiance made a k1 application for me and it was approved. I broke up with him before the interview, and I returned the package to the embassy with a letter of explanation. How will this previous relationship and application adversely effect a possible future application?

Others have had some problem with this, because it is a red flag for immigrating only for a green card (which in your case is ridiculous, as you broke it off, not the USC). One case I can think of had delays both at the NVC level and at the Consulate level. However such cases have been approved, so all you can do is make a strong case and send in the application!

Yes, it should have no bearing on your case but keep in mind that if the first K1 was a short time ago - they may ask the USC fiance to show up at the interview to prove this relationship. other consulates like Colombia are requiring it sometimes. Good Luck
