so im really worried right now...i had my visa interview in frankfurt on may 16th and the consul said everything is fine he´ll send the visa as soon as they have my medical.......i had the medical at the same day prior to the interview but iw as missing two shots ..the doctor said thats no problem i should just go to my doctor , get those two shots and then fax the information sheet back to the doctors office in frankfurt and as soon as he has it , hes going to complete the medical and send it to the embassy...

so i got the missing shots on may 21st that was a wednesday...and faxed the paper back to the doctor in frankfurt at the same day....the next day was a holiday...so i started counting from friday .....its said that it takes 3-5 days at the best and 2 weeks at worse to get the visa in the mail....

its been 9 days now since i they embassy should have my medical and 12 work days since my interview and i am quite worried that something went wrong or that the post office lost my visa packet (since i heard quite a few bad things about the german post office these days especially how they handle certified or registered mail issues and that they keep losing things)

should i worry or does it usually take 2 weeks or longer?? and what should i do if i dont get it within the next days?? should i call someone??im starting to freak out cause there is so much thats depending on me getting the visa!!!

thanks for your help in advance!!

Hi

I don't think you have anything to worry about. My understanding is that vaccinations are not needed to be granted the K1 visa; you only need proof of them once you adjust status after marrying in the US.
