Hey, guys, im going to Shanghai, China to see my girlfriend around end of Jun. and will stay for a month. but its closing to the Beijing Olympics, so the airticket is quite expensive.

i have inquired some travel agency, the quotation is around USD 1320-1350.

do you know any travel agencies offer cheaper ticket and offer the visa services?

thanks for the help!

Actually, that sounds like a good price but you could try www.paciasia.com or www.uschinatrip.com

That is a fair price.

As for visa services, I have used Oasis visa service the past 3 times I have been to China.

Yeah, that sounds fair. If you don't already have mileages accumulated from any major airlines then you might want to check out China Air, Korean Air or even Singapore Air. Those airlines typically provide better service at a cheaper rate. However, they usually run more connections comparing to American, Delta, Northwest or United.

Also, if you are planning to travel to China several times in a year then you should apply for a multi-entry visa (I think the price is a little bit higher but not much.). This type of visa will allow unlimited entries within one year period of time and you can stay up to 90 days (vs. 30 day on a single-entry visa).

Umm... June Shanghai will be hot, humid and wet!! :-) Be prepared for that. I am a little jealous of you even though I just came back from Shanghai! Haha. :-)

Sounds pretty fair, but I'm actually a travel agent, if you want to give me your exact dates or desired dates I can see what kind of fares I can get for you , I generally can get good deals to Asia.
