Is DS-230 sent to applicant after IV bill paid?

My wife is in Tokyo and we decided to continue with the CR-1 process in Tokyo rather than doing Adjustment of Status. The case is associated with the Tokyo Embassy.

After I've paid the Immigrant Visa bill, does the DS-230 go to my spouse, the CR-1 applicant, in Tokyo? Or will I receive it at my address?

It was obvious in the K-3 case, but a little unclear to me now.

I paid the Affidavit of Support fee online along with the Immigrant Visa bill yesterday. It shows up as "paid" today. I presume this means I can go ahead and file the I-864 with the cover sheet that the online payment system generates, yes?

Yes, after you pay each bill you send the cover sheet with the papers.

The I-864 is sent to you (the applicant) and the DS-230 to your wife (the beneficiary).

However, you really don't need to wait for these papers to arrive. Just download the forms from this site or the USCIS site, and then send them along with your supporting documents and the cover sheet you printed to the address on the cover sheet. Waiting for them to send you papers is ridiculous...we're STILL waiting for our DS-3032 hard copy!

If you do everything online then anybody can go in with the IIN and pay the fees and download the coversheets needed. If you choose to wait for the NVC to send the bills, they will be sent to the choice of agent, which is whoever you designated on form DS-3032 to receive all correspondence from the NVC.

Both bills do not get sent to the "agent"...the AOS is an applicant form and the DS-230 is a benficiary form. Only the IV bill (DS-230) will be sent to the "agent".

If you do everything online then anybody can go in with the IIN and pay the fees and download the coversheets needed. If you choose to wait for the NVC to send the bills, they will be sent to the choice of agent, which is whoever you designated on form DS-3032 to receive all correspondence from the NVC.
