AP arrived.. quick question

I got my AP in the mail the other day and it came with two pages of the same thing.. does anyone know why?

Also, when im coming back to the USA do i just present the customs person the paper and he'll let me back in? Im not sure how the AP works and we're supposed to be leaving for canada in 3 weeks. Thanks

When you applied for the AP document, you probably indicated you wanted one for multi use. When you travel, take both copies with you. When you enter the USA for the first time with the AP documents, the CBP Officer will take both copies from you. They will stamp one and return it to you, and keep one. Next time you travel and return, show the CBP Officer the stamped AP document and they won't take it from you.

They collect one copy to send back to the USCIS to show that you've been paroled back into the country.

Yeah, there doesn't seem to be any consistency to it. Some have had one kept, some have not.

David, just hand them the AP and your passport and they'll take it from there. If you're flying you'll need to fill out an I-94 card and present that to them also. If you're driving they'll do it for you. Have a good trip!

i Got 2 AP Pages too as well but i did not know that i can use for multi entry wow ... may be because used a Lawyer to file and she filled the forms
