AOS IS NOW PAID!!! yahooooo!! but still no automated response for that darn choice of agent! so i will send in my AOS tomorrow cuz i am DEAD TIRED! just got home.. had the most awful night but not THE most awful night.. was it a full moon last night cuz everyone of my patients were a little cuckoo..

i know how to make the barcode, but what i don't understand is according to the shortcut, you must first write the case number in black inside the barcode box thing THEN put the generated barcode ON TOP of the written case number.. that doesn't make any sense!

Hi thirdsjen,

My petition finally arrived at NVC. I have a question for you.....when did your hubby e-mail ds3032 to NVC? Was it right after you got the NVC case # or waited until you were in the AVR?? Thanks......

KAHM, if you go to a few older posts in this thread, you'll find the CR-1 Guide by Lotsofpatience as mentioned by CMNB. Also, in our experience, my husband had called NVC about three days after the case was transfered to NVC and found out the IIN. Once he got that, he checked if the AOS fee bill was generated and it was invoiced so he told me to e-mail the DS-3032, he paid online the AOS fee bill and then went out and posted the DS-3032 to NVC. The AVR by the way had not changed. Then Next day the AVR changed to the AOS fee bill being paid and the next day to that they acknowledged our DS-3032. KNow that till now I have not receieved any email from NVC regarding the Choice of Agent and Address so I believe they have accepted the form in post. Hope this helps.

Sara.

KAHM! it finally arrived, eh? good! now you can just fly by NVC if everything is done in order..

ok, here's my story. my case arrived at NVC 7/25. after that, day after day after day i called and called. Same message: that my case has been entered into their system July 25, blah blah blah.. i was getting annoyed. I wanted to know if my AOS fee bill or my DS-3032 (choice of agent was generated.)

Well, July 29, i called NVC to see if they can give me my IIN (invoice identification number.) Wanted to see if my AOS was invoiced cuz i heard you can see this on that online payment site. 1st try during the afternoon EST, lady didn't want to give it to me. said that i should wait for the bill and that it takes weeks. WATEVER. 2nd try, i called 1130 pm EST. Bingo! lady didn't hesitate to give me the IIN. as soon as i got it, i immediately went to the website. saw that the AOS bill status was: NOT PAID. so i went ahead and paid it using my checking account. after i hit submit, status changed to IN PROCESS. tried emailing the DS-3032 at this time. no such luck. couldn't get a automated response.

July 30, tried again by forwarding from his email to mine. dumb yahoo acct. still no replies. so i gave up. AOS fee still IN PROCESS. AVR did change to "received AOS fee bill on July 30. Please wait a few weeks for NVC send blah blah blah."

July 31, AOS status now PAID. AVR still says they received the bill on July 30. Money not debited from my bank yet. Immediately printed out AOS barcode but i was too sleepy to send it! hehe.. Tried emailing again. Still no automated reply. sheesh. So i got the idea from ninjarocket to maybe use my work email since they might think the yahoo email is spam. so i forwarded it to my work. when i got to work, i then forwarded the DS-3032 to NVC with no automated response! but i got this funky email that the message was sensitive.. i dont get it..

Aug 1, here i am at work. decided that yahoo email sucks. according to Steve, when he used his GMAIL account, he got response right away. so i made an account for my husband. sent in the DS-3032, and behold! AN AUTOMATED RESPONSE!!! yessss!!!! will mail the AOS package USPS express when i get off work.

KAHM, i sent the DS-3032 when the AOS fee was invoiced. But i never got the AVR statement of "DS-3032 and the AOS fee was generated on ....." I basically got my IIN from the operater, went to the website, saw the the AOS was invoiced "generated," then emailed the DS-3032. use GMAIL if i were you.

Haven't gotten the AOS package either and i'm not sure if i ever will since i paid online but i'm going to send it since i have the official barcode from them already.

Hope this long story helps!

Jen do you seriously work at that creepy floor where they keep all those patients who are clinically mad? Isn't it scary?

Jenn, I am happy that everything is now working for you. By chance, did you check your spam folder in yahoo?

But I would not also send in the hard copy. You got the auto response, you do not want to confuse them. I no it is not easy waiting, but just relax!!!!

Well last week, I emailed the embassy and explaind them my situation. That we had a K3 interview on August 14th and our CR1 case was now complete at the NVC. And would it be possible to change that interview to a CR1 interview. Well yesterday the replied to me that they contacted the NVC and told them to expidite my file to the embassy, and they let me know that it shipped on Wednesday and they would let me know when they receive it.

But now my wife is in a panic again. She thinks that Cr1 interview is going to be more difficult than the K3 intervirew because it is for a PR visa. I try to tell her that there is no difference.

just got home.. had to swing by the post office to mail the AOS. Steve, your wife is too cute! hehehe.. but i can understand how she feels though. 'specially since our spouses really don't divulge themselves into this world so they really don't know the minor differences, etc. i have been explaining this whole process to my husband a billion times and i don't think he gets it at all.. but that's ok. in our partnership, i'm the one in charge of details and i just tell him that this needs to be done and we need to go here, etc. and it works.. that is so cool that you were able to change it to CR1.. good job on that one!

The hardest thing is trying to talk about the Visa process or her pregnancy. We have no problem communicating. We talk for about 2 hours at least every other night, and lately every night. But the problem is that I do not know the spanish words for legal or medical terms and she does not know then in english. So there is confussion at times.

I will be leaving to go to Buenos Aires on August 9th. 8 days, 21 hours 50 minutes and we will finally be together for always!!!!!:dance::dance::dance:
