Hello VJ crew. I woke up this morning and a question/concern popped in my head...so i decided to ask you guys about it and calm my nerves ( ok, it is not that bad..lol..just want to know). We filed our I-130 in April. We initally wanted to go the K3 route but reading many posts on the site ( aussiewench, pushbrk, YuAndDan and others) ...we changed our mind and decided that the CR-1 is better. Question on our coversheet we mentioned that we want to go the K3 route. We didnt file the I-129F.

1) Will cause any problem seeing that we now are going the CR-1 route and didnt inform USCIS?

2) When our I-130 is approved..will we have to file a I-824?

3) Will this cause a delay in our petition?

Thanks.

Relax. You didn't file an I-129F, so you're on the immigrant visa path.
