I-551 Stamp

My wifes GC will expire on 6/12/08 and we are traveling on 6/29/08.

We have filed the I-751 and DID NOT get an NOA. We did get the Biometrics letter and Biometrics have been completed.

What do we need to show at the InfoPass appointment that we I'm going to make to get the I-551 stamp. Will just the Green Card that is going to expire be ok.

Bring your wife's unexpired passport and her green card. You can bring proof of filing if you wish but you probably won't need it. I would also bring along proof of your travel dates but, again, I don't believe they will require them. They will look up your application via your wife's A# from her green card, verify the date of submission, verify your address, and then put the stamp in her passport. Since TSC is not sending out any NOA1 extension letters the USCIS offices are getting very used to putting the I-551 stamps in passports.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
