Answer #1 you have to open an portfolio account with USCIS and add your I-797 numbers. You will see the last activity date change when you and visit your account.

Answer #2 I think about 6 - 8 weeks +/-

1) I did created an account with USCIS and put the receipt number for I-130 and 485. But the last updated date is 03/19/08 when I did my biometrics. That means they never touched my case after that???

From what people told me, that doesn't mean that they are not working on it. I've seen surprise approvals on here. Hang in there my last touch on my AOS was 4/7/08.

Actually most of us never received a touch after biometrics, until EAD or AOS was approved. Some weeks after the biometrics touch we got a snail mail letter giving our interview date. So they ARE working on the case, but for some reason it is not updated.
