Just got my medical results couriered to me...

Hi All, I chose the courier option, so I just got my envelope from FexEx.... so it came in a very large box, I opened the courier box and inside there is the envelope that says DO NOT OPEN... then there is my x-ray I can see in a envelope (large but not sealed) and my vaccination details are just on a paper inside the box! Is this normal why is that not ALL in a sealed envelope? There are 3 seperate items, does this happen when you pick up the results too?

I'm going to guess that they included a copy of your vaccination worksheet for your AOS process, and that the original is in the sealed brown envelope. The x-ray doesn't need to be sealed because they don't want it.

Ohhh thanks Krikit.... I actually started to panic thinking maybe I wasn't supposed to open the courier box, seriously this immigration thing has gotten me so worried and paranoid about everything... my fiancee keeps saying "calm down, relax" LOL

ya, just so you're not tempted to see what's in the envelope, they include a copy of your vacc. info with xray =)

I totally know where you're coming from. I was exactly the same way. By the time you get to this end you'll realize that there's absolutely nothing to panic about. You know..... like everyone tells you.

Yep - perfectly normal. When I went to pick up my medical results (yipes - 5 years ago now!) they handed me the sealed envelope with DO NOT OPEN, a photocopy of the vaccination worksheet in an unsealed regular envelope, and the x-ray. You won't need the X-ray for immigration again - the written report from the radiologist is inside the sealed envelope. Bring your x-ray with you to your first appointment with your new family doctor in the US as he/she can use it as a baseline for future x-rays - either that or keep it as a souvenir:-).
