Extention Letter

We're getting ready to request for an extention of NOA2

and using the example form in this site

But we aren't sure about how to write on;

・Vital data

・Period of Validity

AOS local office

We still haven't got the visa

but we're so worried about local office when we do AOS.

My fiance lives in Eastern Tennessee,

and we're wondering if Memphis, TN is the only office we could go to for the interview.

Is it possible to go to some other offices in different states?

And how many times do we need to visit the office?

Thank you for answering in advance :)

You don't need to send a letter to extend the validity of an approved I-130 or I-129F. The Consular Officers do it routinely as needed.

You'll probably have two visits to USCIS office(s) during the AOS process. The case will be assigned to the one that covers the district in which you live. This may or may not be in the same State. Not all USCIS offices do these interviews, so it is possible your first visit for biometrics will be at a smaller and closer office. Ours was.

Then I don't understand why the letter I got from them says; I can extend if needed.....

Ah, I'm so relieved to hear about AOS offices.

Please provide the details of any letter you received. Since you have no timeline, I'm not certain it isn't something different. Then, please fill in your profile and timeline to help us help you and to add to the data used to predict the timelines of others.

I got a Packet, which I think it's called Packet 3,

and in that packet, there was visa intrsuctions

and it explained about 'Validity of the approved I-129F petition'.

Therefore, we get that as we need to extend by requesting them.

Could you please explain how you meant; 'Since you have no timeline'?

What would you like to about our timeline/profile?

Thank you so much!!! :)
