A pregnancy should not effect an approval except at the time of the medical. If the person coming to the USA is female they will not do the xrays and maybe some of the vaccinations and she would need to get these done at the time of the AOS.

Everything I respond to is from personal knowledge, research or experience and I am in no means a lawyer or do I claim to be one. Everyone should read, research and be responsible for your own journey.

Pregnancy will not speed it up, and probably won't affect the approval at all, because if you think about it, and I don't mean to offend or suggest anything, I'm just trying to think as an immigration officer looking for evidence, how can you prove who's the father?
