Hang in there too!

Thanks, this will give me something to do during the next 3 weeks besides fretting if I will get an RFE.... I am bringing all the evidence I have for the interview to my hubby and now I can give him a heads up as to the forms he will need to fill out and the medical. I guess for the visa photo they really need the American size photo so I will take the smaller Nepali size to a photo place and see if they can enlarge it... I submitted the I-130 with the smaller photo because I head some people got approved and it didn't matter but then I read someone got an RFE...you never know with USCIS... So if I get an RFE I will be ready or else I will be able to give him the visa photo in the right size.

You're not retarded at all ... to begin with I too was very confused, but after time it became a lot easier ... just start with 1 step and then build on top of that .... 1 step at a time.

Amastar, that's what your friends on here are here to do .... help.

Which bit is confusing, or is all of it confusing ?

Here's the link to Loto's new NVC thread as well ... remember he's already going through NVC and has started the online payments too

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=124074

Amongst all of the joking around that we do, there is a lot of good information ..... and I'm hoping to see you guys in there very soon

If you get stuck Amastar, just ask .... Loto knows about the online payments, and I'll be picking his brains about that when I get there .... and you too

Sarah, initially I was confused too in NVC process. Read couple of times James Shortcut procedure in VJ wiki page. Actually, I came to know about online payments from there.

Only thing I experimented was to get IIN. I didn't find any info from anywhere at that time. One day, just after NVC assigned the case#, it happened to talk to an NVC live operator. Luckily I asked about my IIN and she gave it to me right away. Then I started monitoring DOS website if the bills are generated. That's all !

Actually, online payments and online barcode cover sheet generation is much easier than what James shortcut's old barcode generation procedure. If you're not a computer wiz, old method would definitely make some mistakes. So, I urge and advise everybody to use online payment system. I bet, if you are prompt, you can get out of NVC in 1.5 months time, if all the docs are with you  It is a cake walk...

Thanks again Sarah and Loto for all your help.

Anytime Amastar.

Yes, a trip would be cool for us all .... almost like a celebration of us all surviving this .... a party!

When/if I ever get Stateside again, I'll start looking into it ... hopefully next summer, that's if I don't get held up with RFE's .... security checks .... and whatever other ####### they can find to throw at me

Knowing my luck, I'll have the same name as some felon, just to add a little more fun to this
