Yugoslavia doesn´t exist

Yugoslavia doesn´t exist so why people living in Serbia or Montenegro still have to use Yugoslavian flag on this site? Other former Yugoslavian countries like Croatia, Slovenia or Bosna-Herzegovina are recognized by VJ but the others are not. The name Yugoslavia was completely abandoned more than 5 years ago and I assume it irritates the people of Serbia or Montenegro that they don´t get to have their own flag here. If it doesn´t irritate them, it irritates me at least :P

Or would that be nice to start calling USA colonies of Great Britain again? It used to be truth so what? :P I don´t think so.

Can you please fix this? Thank you :)

The flag of Kosovo will show up first... they are more important. Serbia sucks.

Most of the Serbians I know are not bothered by the term "Yugoslavia", at all. They were actually desperately trying to prevent former Yugoslavia from falling apart. You will still find many "Yugo nostalgicara" ( people who feel nostalgia for former Yugoslavia) on the territory of former Yugoslavia...among Serbians, Croats and also Bosnians, even though the war did awful things to most of them. But most of those "nostalgians" you'll find among Serbs.

But yes, it would be politically correct to abolish the name "Yugoslavia" from the VJ list.

Well yeah :) I believe there are such people in Germany too :) Remembering the "good old days" :P It´s often caused by people tending to just remember the good stuff and forgetting the bad stuff. Then they twist it in their head to make it look even better sometimes. That´s just human nature :) If there was such happiness and content with things revolution or war wouldn´t most likely occur :)

Well, not exactly. I am originally from Croatia. A part of my family had to flee Bosnia, and the other part was displaced from Serbia. You'll find many of us "Former Yugoslavians" all over the globe, even though we might have other countrie's passports now... ;)

Marta, I agree with you. If the country no longer exists, then this site should be updated to reflect that change. And, for the record, you weren't rude. Others were rude to you. I thought your request was fine.
