Hi guys,

In the process of getting my medical examination completed. The doc said I needed another MMR and a tetanus. I went back to my regular doctor who did a titer for the MMR.

The titer came back positive for everything. Upon calling the immigration doc he said that this wasn't enough (immigration wouldn't accept it) and that I would still need to have the vaccination for the MMR. Have spoken to several doctors who have said that they would never give me the vaccination as there is a high chance that I would end up sick as it is a live virus.

Have also spoken to other civil services offices whom have said that normally all they require is that the person bring the titer documentation in and they will add it to theri forms without further vaccinations. They also said they would not vaccinate again.

Have anyone els dealt with this or know where I can get more information?

Thanks

My doctors would even do titer test, but gave me my vaccination record that does not show mmr or tb jabs that I know i have had. I asked my doctor if it would be dangerous to have a mmr jab again now as an adult and he said it would be fine, and that unfortunately I have to have what the clinic suggests otherwise the report send to the embassy would not be good.
