DS-230 and approval notice/receip number

together with form ds-230 i need to provide evidence that the case was approved, am i correct? I don't have a copy of the I-130 approval notice. I DO have the receipt number and if i go to the USCIS website it will tell me that my case has been approved a notice has been sent out. I hear it takes about 9-12 months for a duplicate copy of the I-130 petition approval notice to be sent out.

Would you guys think it'd be ok to print out the case status page saying the case has been approved and submit that?

I know we applied for a different visa but we never received our approval notice, either, and it was required to adjust status. What I did was include a copy of the case status page (which you are referring to) and made a comment about it in my covering letter. It worked just fine for us. :thumbs:

I tried to viiew your timeline to see what visa you are filing for but it has not been filled out. Please fill it out as it provides us with info that can help us answer your question. :yes: If you are filing for CR-1/IR-1 then you do not need the approval notice with your ds-230.
